Ascension Outreach, Inc. is a community service non-profit 501(c)(3), based in 
Greenwich Village, New York & member agency of Food Bank for New York City operating a food pantry program located at The Church of the Ascension.
Pantry service is offered from 8:30 am to 9:00 am in line at 12 West 11th Street. We will do our best to serve all guests, both those scheduled and any others. Scheduled pantry guests should arrive as close to their appointed time as possible in order to avoid clustering on the sidewalk. Masks are optional, but advised and please give distance standing in line. Those who do not have scheduled times are asked to come at 8:30am and will be directed by volunteers. Food bags are packaged in advance and volunteers will distribute bags to each guest.
NEW REGISTRATION PROCESS TO RECEIVE FOOD: Grocery bags of non-perishable food are distributed on the first and third Saturday each month from 8:30am to 9:00am in the Parish House door at 12 West 11th Street. The first time you come there will be a registration process to sign up to receive food.
Documentary films on current social justice issues are occasionally shown in the Parish Hall of Church of the Ascension, 12 West 11th Street at 7:00pm. Cinema evenings are currently on hold. Watch here for future events.
